A Practical Manual of Hysteroscopy and Endometrial Ablation Techniques: A Clinical Cookbook
The past decade has seen an explosive growth in both knowledge and techniques used in hysteroscopy and endometrial ablation. Helping readers keep up with the rapid growth in this field, this book covers current and emerging endometrial ablation procedures. It provides practical, step-by-step illustrated descriptions of basic and advanced techniques and new methods. The editors, Resad Pasic and Ronald L. Levine, have brought together an internationally renowned group of authors to contribute their knowledge and expertise. The illustrations, whether line drawings or actual photographs, deliver the message. The reader will quickly grasp what to do, and just as importantly, what not to do.
2007 AMC Rodeo- KC-135 flight deck- Your Humble Narrator
Part of my job as the only Non-Commisssioned Officer on the KC-135 configuration team was to unlock the airplane in the morning, climb up through the crew entry hatch, unlock and get the Cargo door open using the manual hydraulic pump actuator, and then get the PLS ramp into position against the cargo deck. Then, we all got to carry the equipment up the ramp into the aircraft. Once we got the external power on (as seen in photo), I then had to ensure the correct breakers were set for installation of the medical equipment's electrical frequency converter.
The crew entrance hatch is through the floor of the flight deck, where a rigid ladder has to be manuevered and locked into place before being able to enter the aircraft. I really enjoy crewing on the KC-135, it's a lot of fun for a fifty year old airplane!
